Pregnant woman, 3 Others Killed In Horrific Abuja Fatal Accident

At least four persons including a pregnant woman were confirmed dead as a truck belonging to CGC Nigeria Limited lost control at Suncity estate junction along Galadimawa- Lokogoma road in Abuja metropolis on Friday late afternoon.
The accident occurred at about 4.45pm at the busy junction just few meters away from Suncity entrance pin-down station of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)
An IMAGE NEWS correspondent who arrived the accident scene almost immediately said the incident caused massive traffic gridlock on the road.
The remains of the dead were taken by FRSC officials to the Federal Medical Centre, Jabi which is about three kilometers from the scene of the accident. Similarly, the critically injured victims were rushed to the same hospital.
Apart from the dead and the injured, several facilities were damaged by the rampaging truck. Among them were empty water tanks on sale, plumbing materials, children bicycle and traffic light among others.
