Victory carts home N35m, car as he wins Nigerian Idol S8
A lawyer song writer and gospel singer, Victory Gbakara, on Sunday night, emerged winner of Nigerian Idol Season 8.
He defeated Precious Mac to clinch the N100 million grand prize, part of which is N35 million in cash and a brand new car.
The prize also includes a music record deal and a video shoot.

He said, “I don’t know what to say. But I want to say thank you. You made this happened.
“Thank you all so much. I love you. Thank you for making my dream come true.”
As the Season eight edition of the Nigerian Idol comes to an end on Sunday night, four Nigerian artistes; Simi, Fave, Johnny Drille and season seven winner, Progress thrilled the audience in Lagos.
The grand finale was aired on Africa Magic Family, Urban, and Showcase at 7.00 p.m WAT.
