HUT Foundation flags off school visitations …espouse tolerance, beauty of diversity ![]() Executive Director, HUT Foundation, Ms Precious Nkem Ogbuenyi with a student during the event A non-governmental organization, HUT Foundation (Heart of Unity and Tolerance Foundation) has flagged off its visitation programme to primary and secondary schools in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and neighbouring states to espouse the virtues of tolerance, non-discrimination and beauty of diversity. Speaking during the ceremony at JIP Heritage Academy, Jikwoyi Abuja, Thursday 20th of October, 202, the Executive Director of HUT Foundation, Barrister Precious Nkem Ogbuenyi said that rather than stand by and watch things deteriorate as they concern the peace, tolerance and unity of the country, members of the group have resolved to step out and begin to sensitize the young ones to think positively about Nigeria and her future greatness as a single entity. According to Ms Nkem, the Foundation’s goal is “to re-orientate the general public on the need to cultivate and encourage factors that unify us and actively pursue positive social change wherever we find ourselves”. She added that “it is in this vein that the members of the HUT Foundation launched their school visitation programme, a measure to ensure the coming generation is taught positive tenets that will bring about a more progressive Nigeria.” ![]() ![]() ![]() |
